Bountiful Safaris Promoting Domestic Tourism.

Kenya is a pot of gold when it comes to tourism. The dozens of attraction sites we hold attract tourists and visitors from all over the world, throughout the year to relish them.  We pride ourselves in being the homeland of globally recognized attraction sites and being one of the places where you can experience phenomenal and unforgettable experiences i.e. The Great Migration. However, Kenyans do not often get to enjoy and experience the much their country has to offer for a number of varying reasons i.e. lack of knowledge or financial factors. To breach this gap, and in recognition by Ziara Kenya, we held a competition to reward our winner with a free four day trip to Turtle Bay Beach Club, Watamu.

The social media campaign ran from 10th March to 22nd May and the feedback and engagement was overwhelming, and even though we wished we could take more people, we could only have one winner. Kudos to Nitetalk and his crew, Erick Ziara Kenya who made sure the campaign was successful through tweeting and social media engagement. We appreciated your efforts .The goal of the campaign was to create awareness of the spectacular places Kenya has and to motivate participation of locals to take part in Domestic tourism. We did this by awarding our winner with a four-day flight trip for two to Turtle Bay Beach Club watamu.

The package included a free stay at Turtle Bay beach club watamu with free access to their widely assorted dishes and cuisines. The winners could also take part in any other activities Turtle Bay has to offer i.e. Beach Soccer, Table Tennis, Water Aerobics and Baseball during the day and Theme nights, Traditional African dancers and snake shows under the moonlight with live music during the evening. Candle-lit dinner by the ocean is also inclusive to this grand package.

Turtle Bay is located on Watamu Beach on the edge of Watamu Marine park. The hotel rooms give a majestic view of the beach and its delightful surroundings.

On Friday, 19th of June, our winner, Kemunto together with her fiancée were ready and excited to take the flight to the four days of thrilling moments in Watamu. All the flight and hotel bookings had already been done by Bountiful safaris, all they had to do was arrive and leave. During the four days, they tweeted about their magical experience and the tons of fun they were having. Here are a couple of things she said:

This team is on the forefront in spearheading domestic tourism. Who else gives free flying trips other than them?

On day 1/4; We enjoyed playing darts at club turtle bay. Mad fun!

We also became supertasters of the wide assorted desserts

We are excited to have been part of this. We are also grateful for the recognition by Ziara Kenya, magical Kenya and the award for promoting Domestic tourism. Kenyans deserve to be able to experience and enjoy the beautiful and breath-taking spots their country holds.
