Starting from one of the mountain's gates, like Sirimon, the trail takes you through lush forests filled with wildlife such as elephants and buffaloes. As you ascend, the scenery shifts from dense bamboo to open heathlands, and eventually to the high-altitude moorlands with unique flora like giant lobelias and senecios.
