3 days Tsavo flying safari is a Kenya flying safari offering an opportunity to visit the famous Tsavo national park famous for man eaters, the park forms the largest protected area in Kenya together with sister company Tsavo East national park.
Tsavo East national park hosts the longest lava flow in the world which adds on the adventure in the park while on a Kenya safari, some of the animals you should expect to see in the Tsavo East include vast herds of dust red elephants, rhinos, cape buffaloes, lions, leopards, pods of hippos, nile crocodiles, waterbucks, lesser kudu, gerenuk and prolific birdlife with 500 recorded bird species.

On the 1st day of the 3 days Tsavo East flying safari you will be picked from Jomo Kenyatta International airport upon arrival or at the hotel in Nairobi and transferred to Wilson Airstrip for your flight to one of the airstrips serving Tsavo East National park. On arrival at the airstrip, you will be picked up by your safari driver guide and go for a game drive in the plains of Tsavo East National park searching for animals.
Tsavo East national park at a size of 22,000 square kilometers is one of the world’s largest wildlife sanctuaries and famously known for herds of dust covered red elephants, maneless lions and other wildlife species such as leopards, cheetahs, giraffes, cape buffaloes and other animals. At lunch, you will be transferred to the lodge for lunch and after lunch you will return to the park for an afternoon/evening game drive.
Meal plan: Lunch and dinner
Wake up early for breakfast at around 06:30 hours and depart for an early morning game drive searching for the big cats as they return from their nocturnal hunts, you will be able to see several animals such as African wild dogs, lions, leopards, warthogs, gazelles, rhinos, Nile crocodiles, waterbucks, gerenuks among others.
At lunch, you will either return to your lodge or have a picnic lunch set in one of the picnic sites dotted around the park with breathtaking views of the park and its wildlife. Then go for another game drive exploring the park more. In the evening you will return to your lodge for dinner and overnight.
On this last day, you will wake up early and head to the park for an early morning game drive offering tourists an opportunity to spot early risers and predators as they return from hunting. Return to the lodge for breakfast, then checkout and be transferred to the airstrip for your flight to Wilson airstrip. Upon landing at Wilson Airport and upon landing you will be picked up by our safari guide and transferred either to Jomo Kenyatta International airport for your flight back home or at your preferred location in Nairobi.
