8 Days 7 Nights Tanzania Experience With Materuni Cultural Tour

Take an early morning flight from Nairobi to Arusha, where upon arrival you will be met by the Bountiful Safaris team representative. Afterward, you'll be transferred to your hotel in Arusha for check-in. Enjoy a delicious dinner and spend the night in comfort. (Lunch & Dinner included).

Start your day with an early breakfast before heading to Materuni Village, accompanied by an English-speaking guide. Located just 15 kilometers (9.3 miles) from Moshi, Materuni is an authentic Chagga tribal village and the last settlement before Kilimanjaro National Park. Upon arrival, you’ll register at the village office and begin your exploration.

Your first stop is a visit to the stunning waterfalls, a 40-minute walk from the village. As you trek, your guide will share insights about the Chagga culture, village life, and the local flora and fauna. Enjoy the breathtaking views along the way, and with a bit of luck, you may even catch a glimpse of Mount Kilimanjaro’s summit.

Once you reach the waterfalls, marvel at the impressive 80-meter (262-foot) cascade. Take a refreshing dip in the inviting pool at the base of the falls, so be sure to bring your swimwear!

After soaking in the natural beauty, you’ll slowly return to Materuni Village, where a traditional Chagga lunch awaits, along with a chance to sample local banana beer.

The day continues with a fascinating coffee experience, where you'll learn the entire coffee process, from cultivation to roasting. You'll even have the opportunity to grind the beans yourself, accompanied by Chagga songs and dances, offering an engaging and immersive cultural experience. Before heading back to Arusha, savor the coffee you’ve prepared while enjoying the peaceful views of the surrounding rainforest.

Return to Arusha for dinner and overnight stay. 

After an early morning breakfast, begin your journey to the Ngorongoro Crater Conservation Area. The drive takes you through Mto Wa Umbu and the Lake Manyara observation point, offering scenic views along the way. Once you arrive, enjoy an early lunch and check into your accommodation.

In the afternoon, embark on a thrilling descent into the crater floor at 13:00 hours by Safari Jeep for an unforgettable game drive. Explore this unique UNESCO World Heritage site and search for a variety of wildlife, including rhinos, lions, elephants, leopards, cheetahs, buffaloes, and hippos. After your exciting game drive, return to your lodge for a well-deserved dinner and a relaxing overnight stay at the Lodge (Full board).

After an early morning breakfast, depart for a scenic drive to Serengeti National Park. Upon arrival, enjoy an afternoon game drive across the vast plains of the Serengeti, a wildlife haven known for its large populations of wildebeests, zebras, lions, cheetahs, leopards, and a variety of bird species.

After an exciting day of wildlife viewing, return to your lodge for dinner and a peaceful overnight stay at the Lodge (Full board).

Spend the whole day in Serengeti with morning and afternoon game drives. Experience the undisturbed nature in this famous game park. Dinner and overnight at the Lodge (Full board).

Enjoy breakfast at the lodge before embarking on a scenic drive to Lake Manyara National Park. Upon arrival, check-in and enjoy a delicious lunch. After a relaxing rest in the afternoon, set out for an exciting game drive where you can spot the famous tree-climbing lions, along with hippos, elephants, and a variety of bird species.

Return to your lodge in the evening for a delightful dinner and a comfortable overnight stay at the Lodge (Full board).

After breakfast, depart for Tarangire National Park, enjoying game viewing along the way until lunchtime. Upon arrival, check in at the lodge and take some time to rest. 

In the afternoon, embark on an exciting game drive, where you'll have the opportunity to spot a variety of wildlife, including the iconic jumbo elephants.

After a memorable day of wildlife exploration, return to the lodge for a delicious dinner and an overnight stay (Full board).

After an early morning breakfast, you'll be transferred to the International Airport for your flight back to Nairobi, marking the end of your unforgettable Tanzania adventure.
